WHO ARE WE?

The UCF Surf Club & Team is a student run organization that provides a place for people with common interests to hang out, meet new people, and go surfing. The Surf Club is one of the largest non-greek organizations on campus with about 100 members. Along with regularly scheduled events, people in the Surf Club/Team often travel together to different spots around the globe for vacation. Our club is a great way to make friends and catch rides to the beach.
The Surf Team competes in the NSSA College Division. Team riders are chosen at the beginning of the semester based on performance at the surf team tryouts. Riders will be divided into A, B, and C teams. Divisions include Men's Shortboard, Longboard, and Women's Shortboard. Check out the "Team Riders" section for a current list of our team riders.
SPORTS CLUB COUNCIL
The University of Central Florida (UCF) Sport Club Program is an agency of the UCF Student Government Association (SGA) and is advised by the Sport Club Staff at the UCF Recreation & Wellness Center (RWC). Each sport club is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) with the Office of Student Involvement (OSI). Sport Clubs exist to promote and develop interest in a particular sport activity. Interests may be competitive, recreational, instructional or any combination of the three. Participation in Sport Clubs is strictly voluntary. As RSO's, clubs are developed by students for students under the supervision of the Recreation & Wellness Center. The Sport Club staff of the RWC believes that involvement in the Sport Club Program enhances development, leadership, and the overall college experience for students by supplementing skills learned in the educational realm. It is the mission of the program to provide diverse sports opportunities for all students across a broad range of skill levels and experiences. MEMBERSHIP FORM

INTRAMURALS
The Surf Club likes to participate in Intramurals. We like to try to put together a team for as many sports as we can. If you would like to put a team together for a specific sport or are interested in joining a team please post something on the message board. FACULTY ADVISOR
