Tonight (Friday June 18) there is a benefit party for the oil spill at Club 57 West. There will be raggae and raggae rocks bands perfoming live, a sick raffle, the Audubon Center for birds of prey, the Florida Wildlife Federation, and more will also be present. Go check it out and have a good time for a good cause!

Saturday night (June 19) the Orlando Science Center will be premiering Kelly Slater Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D movie and will also have a cocktail hour featuring the Surf UCF from 6-9pm! The orlando Science Center has a sick Imax style screen and should be perfect for viewing the film! Going to be an awesome night come check it out!

The team is in California and just finished up with NSSA Nationals. The competition was very high and the final point standings were very close. UCF finished fourteenth overall nationally, with Amy Nicholl dominating most of the contest, winning her quarter-final and semi-final heats and posting the highest score of the contest up until the semi's, and finishing fourth overall. Annaleigh also made it to the semi-finals.

The contest is looking to run on Sunday due to the wave conditions. Competitors should be at Cocoa Beach Pier at 8am Sunday morning. Best teams will win a part of the cash purse and we have some sick prizes from Ron Jon Surf Shop, Monster Energy, and Quiet Flight for top male and female surfers.
